Unless there is a significant underlying injury, there is ample time to seek medical care and it is appropriate to take a few minutes to clean and dress the wound. The wound will be cleaned, dressed, and allowed to heal gradually over time, our qualified nurses / home attendant will clean the wound as per the advice by your Doctor.
