Wound Care:

Image
Wound Care: The purpose of nursing care for wounds is to prevent complications through infection; some wounds are deeper and need medical attention to prevent infection and los s of function, due to damage to underlying structures like bone, muscle, tendon, arteries and nerves. While important, cosmetic results are not the primary consideration for wound repair. If a wound needs medical care, there are steps that can be taken at home to begin treatment. Unless there is a significant underlying injury, there is ample time to seek medical care and it is appropriate to take a few minutes to clean and dress the wound. The wound will be cleaned, dressed, and allowed to heal gradually over time, our qualified nurses / home attendant will clean the wound as per the advice by your Doctor.
